Installation requirements for Steel Hose Fittings :
1. In this type of installation, since the vibration direction of the equipment is mainly up and down vertical vibration, the metal hose mainly compensates for its axial displacement, and the metal hose itself cannot compensate for the axial displacement in its natural state. The result of such installation and use must be that the metal hose cannot withstand strong axial tension and breaks, which leads to pipeline leakage.
2. When installing, make the two ends of the metal hose torsion relatively. It mainly occurs when the two ends of the metal hose are in the form of a flange connection. At the installation site on the ship, due to installation errors, the flange holes at the two ends of the connection are often not aligned and offset, and the hose joint is considered to be able to withstand Torsional displacement compensation, but in fact, the metal hose itself cannot compensate for this torsional displacement. The result is that the metal hose is twisted and the pipeline leaks. In this case, a metal hose with a loose flange at one end can be used for the connection.
3. There is a large radial deviation at both ends of the metal hose during installation. Although the metal hose itself can compensate for the lateral displacement, if there is a relatively large relative radial displacement at both ends during installation, the actual compensation amount in this direction will be reduced, which may cause the need in this direction during use. The compensation amount is greater than the actual compensation amount of the hose in this direction, which causes fatigue damage and damage to the metal hose.
